Just like the predecessors to this book it stays focussed and moving It doesn t get bogged down with extraneous bumf and the stories are completed and uestions answered In reality the book probably only deserves three and a half stars because it is fairly simple and straightforwardand the ending fairly predictable I like something that has possibly a little meat to the storyStillan enjoyable read that I wanted to finish so I could get all the pieces in place If there is a number 7 I ll be looking out for it anyway

And yet another gem in this terrific series I enjoy it so much even though I get a bit left behind as I have to wait till the prices drop a bit firstof the 6 there was only one I didn t give 5 to which is really good goingIt s nice to sit down and once reacuaint myself with Tracy and her cohorts Tracy doesn t really appear as much in this story though It doesn t matter however as it s good to concentrate on other members of the suad now and then I knew from the dedication at the beginning that something awful was going to happen to someone in this story and he did a great job in taking us along on that particular journey I did find myself feeling as though I had homework set a few times though as he kept writing Spanish phrases and I had to keep getting them translated This and just one solitary missed off apostrophe are my only gripes so presentation is also spot on I was interested to read that sunshine can destroy DNA I had never known this before now and neither that the Medical Examiner usually makes death notifications there as opposed to the police though that might only be in Washington StateThis one had the nicest cover so far I ve seen on his books There were a few passages or remarks that I found very amusing in it mostly in Faz s dealings with the local gangstas I did figure out whodunnit uickly on one of the parallel cases but that spoilt nothing about it Makes a change for me to guess right though as it isn t usually the case Another observation from me and not only in regards to this set of books is the times Americans refer to compass points whereas I d have said on the left or right hand side of something for example They do it a great dealalthough I know my NESW I probably couldn t say at any given time that somebody went southwards or eastwards for example yet they seem to do it without thinking over there I find that interestingOnce again this is a tremendous thriller and the series is great and I highly recommend this author

There are two unconnected murder stories here that cross over only at the police station This does get confusing The author is trying to fit too much in and doesn't uite get it right but pretty goodThe first is a missing person then death of an Indian descent American student The story revolves around arranged marriages and family honour It also involves becoming a escort to finance medical school through a sug

This just keeps getting better Robert Dugoni you will have pressure on you now to get book 7 out ASAP What a page turner and very well written crime novel I am loving the way the characters are being built slowly in the background It’s just enough to get to know them and enjoy them but does not interfere with the action of the book Can’t wait for book 7
